hence的用法

hence作“从此时起，从此处”解时不与from连用；作“因此,所以”解时常可用therefore，consequently代替；可用在句中或句末，也可直接修饰名词。hence本身作為副词，表示「因此」或「尊敬」，通常由它带出來的结果會和前面一句話有因果关系，在意思上和therefore相同。用法上除了連接子句之外，也可以接名词。
