not but的用法

not……but意思是“不是……而是……”

not only……but （also）意思是“不但……而且……”

具体用法：例子：Not he but they are athletes.不是他而是他们才是运动员。

在not……but中，谓语的单复数形式取决于but后面的名词。如这个例子，are是看they的。

例子：She is not only good at mathematics, but she is interested in English as well.

她不但擅长数学，而且对英语也感到兴趣。

Not only did the dog bark athim, but (it)bithim.

这只狗不但对他吠叫，而且咬了他。
