√:It’s going to rain.
×:The weather is going to rain.
√:It snowed last night.
×:The weather snowed last night.
It's dry.
其实,当时听力题说7月开放的时候,还加了一句... in July-our driest month-because our children said they didn't want our guests to have a miserable, wet visit.
√:It is getting very hot.
√:The weather is getting very hot.
√:It is cold in Beijing in winter.
√:The weather of Beijing is cold in winter.
类似地,表示“吹风”时,其主语可以是it或the wind,但是不能以the wind作blow的宾语:
√:The wind [It] is blowing hard tonight
×:It is blowing wind hard tonight.
